Kim’s passion is making a functional change.

Kim is a speech pathologist with experience in supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of communication needs. She takes a neurodiversity affirming, strengths based approach and is passionate about providing evidence-based therapy that is respectful, practical, and meaningful for each young person and their family. Kim aims to make therapy fun, tailoring sessions to centre interests to support motivation and engagement.

Kim has worked as part of multidisciplinary teams and has experience assessing and supporting children and adolescents with disability and communication differences, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, autism, global developmental delay, ADHD, intellectual disability, and selective mutism.

Kim has a particular interest in literacy and written language and enjoys supporting children and adolescents to build the communication skills they need for learning, self expression, and confidence across school and everyday environments. She has experience working in and alongside schools and values collaboration with educators to support functional outcomes in the classroom.

Kim is the founder and director of Shoreline Speech Pathology. She graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences and a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology. Kim is a certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
